GitHub problems
Missing checks, a repository that will not appear, and installations that vanish.
- The repository does not appear
- The App was installed without access to it. Change the selection on GitHub - the list refreshes on the next event.
- No check on a pull request
- Either the repository is not connected to a site, or the pull request targets a branch we have no baseline for. The first scan of the base branch fixes that.
- The installation disappeared
- Uninstalling on GitHub removes it. AppScan notices, stops scanning, and keeps existing findings; reinstall to resume.
- Fork pull requests
- GitHub deliberately narrows permissions for forks. What cannot be read is reported as skipped rather than passed.
Questions
I reinstalled the App and lost my findings.
You should not have - findings belong to the site, not to the installation. If something is genuinely missing, tell us the repository and roughly when.
Can I connect one repository to two sites?
A repository belongs to one site, so that findings have one home. Split the site if you genuinely have two applications in one repository.
