Built for people who ship faster than they review.
AI made it possible to build a working product in a weekend. It did not make it possible to know whether that product is safe to put in front of people. AppScan exists for the gap between those two things.
Security tooling assumed a security team.
Traditional scanners were written for people who already know what SAST, DAST, CVSS, CWE, SBOM and taint analysis mean. They produce thousands of results and expect somebody to triage them. That works when triage is a job. It does not work when the person who wrote the code, deployed it and owns the company is the same person, and it is Sunday.
So AppScan hides the vocabulary and answers four questions instead. You can always open the technical detail - the rule id, the evidence, the file, the request - but you never have to in order to know what to do next.
- 01Is my app safe right now?
- 02What should I fix first?
- 03Did my latest change make security better or worse?
- 04Has a new vulnerability appeared in something my app uses?
Everything in the product exists to answer one of these. If a feature does not, it does not get built.
Six things we will not trade away.
Detection is deterministic and split into stages. A security finding you cannot reproduce is a rumour, and rumours do not belong in a backlog.
Every finding carries the rule that raised it and the proof it rests on. If we cannot show you why, we do not tell you what.
The real findings are alarming enough without help. We do not invent breach stories, and we do not decorate severity.
An AI feature that cannot be budgeted is a liability. Every task is estimated, capped and charged in a unit you can see.
A scan that could not finish says so. Silence about coverage is how security tools quietly lie.
You will not find borrowed logos, fabricated case studies or testimonials nobody gave on this website. When we have customers who want to be named, they will be named.
“The product should behave like a background security team - one that never asks you to learn its vocabulary, and never claims something it cannot show you.”

Everything described on this site is running.
249 rules, nineteen pipeline stages, the GitHub App, the browser pass, the billing ledger, the audit trail and the AI gateway are all built and verified. The changelog lists all fifty phases with the dates they landed.
